We provide advice in the area of European Arrest Warrants and Extradition.

Extradition is a process whereby a State makes a request to Ireland to transfer a person who is living in Ireland to be tried for an offence or to serve a sentence in that State. For EU member States making that request to Ireland, the grounding legislation is the European Arrest Warrant Act, 2003. For non-EU member States the grounding legislation is the Extradition Act, 1965. Philip Hannon Solicitors practice in the areas of Extradition and European Arrest Warrants.

We appear regularly in the High Court in respect of European Arrest Warrants and Extradition cases and have significant experience in this area. We are available 24/7 through our emergency telephone number to advise any person who is the subject of a European Arrest Warrant or who has a query about extradition matters. If you would like to speak with one of our Solicitors, call us in confidence on 01 8733980 (or for urgent cases out of hours call us on 085 885 1399) or send us an enquiry.
