    Philip Hannon qualified as a solicitor in 1992 when he joined the law firm of Dermot H. Morris & Co. He became the Principal Solicitor in that firm in 1999, later establishing Philip Hannon & Co. Solicitors. Philip is one of Ireland’s leading criminal law solicitors and has led many ground-breaking legal challenges over the years.

    Philip has over 25 years’ experience successfully defending those suspected or accused of unlawful activities. His strong sense of social justice ensures that the interests of each of his clients are always to the forefront of Philip’s work. He has been prominent in the Dublin District Courts as a skilled advocate as well as in the Circuit Courts and the Central Criminal Court.

    Philip has represented Ireland as a delegate at the European Criminal Bar Association where he has briefed European colleagues at conferences in Germany and Poland in relation to developments in Irish Criminal Law.

    While not at the coal face of the Irish criminal justice system, Philip is a father of three and is a committed member of the G.A.A. as a member, a player and as a mentor at Beann Eadair CLG and na Fianna, Dublin. Philip is an active volunteer in the local community through his role in the GAA including efforts to assist the elderly and those living alone during Covid 19.

    Nuala Eustace holds an honours degree in law from Trinity College Dublin. She qualified as a solicitor in 1993 having completed her training with McCann FitzGerald Solicitors. Nuala worked for ten years in the aviation and banking sectors including as senior legal adviser and as head of legal in world leading aviation lessors. Nuala is an accredited mediator as well as a solicitor.

    Nuala has a strong commitment to promote justice, equality and access to legal remedy for all, which led her to change direction in her career some years ago. She joined Philip Hannon solicitors and for thirteen years, Nuala’s work includes criminal law (at District and higher courts), property and conveyancing.

    Nuala brings a wealth of legal knowledge, experience and integrity to her work and strives to give her clients a unique personal and individual service in whatever legal issue they bring to her. Whether a criminal law matter or a house purchase or sale, Nuala is a tenacious lawyer who works hard to deliver a quality personal service to each client.

    Nuala has three children and when not working she enjoys reading, gardening and walking the family dogs especially in and around the Bull Island and the Howth peninsula.

    Audrey Armstrong is a legal executive with over 25 years of experience in the field of criminal law practice. She joined Dermot H Morris & Co. in 1993 and continued to work with the firm when it became Philip Hannon & Co. Solicitors and through the many changes since then.

    Audrey is an expert in the District and Circuit court practice and procedure and especially in the area of High Court Bail applications and Judicial Review procedure. She provides practical and expert assistance to the firm and its clients on a wide range of issues.

    Outside of work, Audrey is a talented basketball player who has been capped for Ireland and who continues to play and participate in sport in her free time.

    Liath has been working at Philip Hannon Solicitors since 2017 where she deals extensively with office administration, filing and client enquiries, helping to serve our customers and keep the practice running smoothly. Liath is a graduate of University College Dublin, with a first class honours Bachelor of Arts degree awarded in 2021.
